Featured by DIY Network’s This NEW House, Elle DecorWGBH-TV and on the cover of Design New England magazine, Lisa K. Tharp’s work represents a fresh take on classic interior design.  Inspired by architectural traditions, modern form, fine art and nature itself, she calls upon a refined, and sometimes unexpected mix of elements in her work.  Whether a relaxed beach house, gracious family home or sophisticated update to a historic residence, Lisa helps each client find and express their own personal style in spaces that are inviting, comfortable and functional.

Lisa often collaborates with architects on new construction and renovations, and creates custom furniture, lighting and original art for her clients.  Current projects include waterfront homes in Kennebunkport and Boston, as well as residences in Concord, Chestnut Hill,  Brookline, Cape Cod and more.

Visual art skills, honed from years of photography and filmed shoots during her first career as marketer and video producer (Time Life, HBO, Kraft General Foods), inform Lisa’s sense of composition, lighting and scale.  She is passionate about design practices that are healthy for people + the planet, which she showcased in the creation of The Concord Green Healthy Home – a 2011 EcoHome Design Award Winner.

Lisa is a member of the Boston Design Center.
